This is the humanitarian arm of Bishop Dag Heward-Mills’ Ministry. The Charity seeks to help forgotten and overlooked people in our society. Aiming to relieve suffering and ministering the love of God is the bedrock of this charity. This charity is strongly committed to assisting the underprivileged, visually and hearing impaired, and the physically challenged in various ways.

In 2012, the charity intoned an outreach drive, to alleviate the suffering of street beggars by giving them some financial support on a regular basis. We currently have 350 resisted beggars on our payroll. A number of these outreaches have been held and each month 300-350 street beggars are seen and given this support. The charity also provides brand new wheel chairs to those who cannot afford them, enhancing the recipient’s mobility and independence.

The blind have also benefited tremendously from the charts. The evangelist through the Help-The-Helpless Charity has donated Brailed textbooks free of charge to all the blind students in the schools for the blind in the country, starting with the Junior Secondary School Level. A total of 895 Braille textbooks have since been Donated to blind students across the country

Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills also has a bold vision to provide all blind school going children in Ghana, with brand new Perkins Braillers, free of charge! 28 of these Braille machines have been donated so far. Periodic Free medical outreaches are held from time at the Mampong School of the blind
